Description

Wish I was better at coming up with good titles.

Ranja, wearing only what she needs to be awesome; a pair of stomping boots, C.C. knives, her two guns and a shining new prosthetic arm.

I loved drawing her just as much as I loved making the background actually. I'm surprized as to how good it ended up looking.
Well, in my opinion at least. Sometimes I forget that the background is just supposed to serve as a contrast to where stuff is happening. In the future I'll probably try out different methods of making cool backgrounds with less effort.

And before you ask: Yes, there is a version without bandages. I might submit it one day.

I found this thanks to <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/n/y/n…" alt=":iconnyiana-sama:" title="Nyiana-Sama"/>'s feature! I like this pic alot. You drew a detailed bg and the proportioning on the character is great. A word of advice is that a soft shaded character doesn't really stand out against a soft shaded background. What is happening in your picture is that the character and the bg seem to be fighting for attention. In the future either use hard shading and/or strengthen the colors in the foreground by using basic color theory to choose a color that will stand out in relation to the rest of the piece. Good job otherwise <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
