In the architects' footsteps

Trying out ~Beanjamish's comic style. I must say I enjoyed using/trying this style a lot more than I expected me to. It also took a lot less time than I thought it would, and looks better than my usual lineart'd backgrounds in my opinion. I might keep doing things in this style. I'm curious of what it'll turn into over time.

Other than that I'm not happy with the motive. I seriously need to do more sketching before starting on the actual piece. I wanted these blocks to look ancient. The stone wall in front is actually a fallen, overgrown stone block. I utterly failed to communicate that part, so I should either have removed it, or worked more on it.

But meh, it was just an experiment.
